Cisco Networking Academy Program

The four core Cisco Academy course, NET125-NET226 represent 280 hours of classroom and hands-on lab instruction, providing the students with a basic foundation in networking. Students who successfully complete this portion of the program are prepared to earn Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) certification.

Course work includes extensive hands-on experiment with Cisco Routers and switches.  Classes cover the fundamentals of networking, the network media, topologies and protocols.  Router and switch installation, configuration, and support are addressed.  Hardware and software troubleshooting and network administration topics are covered as part of the curriculum.

The program prepares the student to take the Cisco CCNA certification exam as well as the CompTIA Net+ exam.  Cisco rewards students with good grades on the program's voucher exam with discounts toward taking the certification exams.  The actual certification exam is not part of this program, students will register for certification testing through VUE or Prometric Testing Services.
