Advanced Manufacturing Week 2014

Beaufort County Community College and nine other North Carolina community colleges have formed the North Carolina Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (NCAMA), which is the recipient of a grant for $18,835,604 from the United States Department of Labor and the United States Department of Education.

The main goal of the NCAMA is to help train displaced workers for high-quality jobs in electrical/electronics, machining, and welding technology. Partnering with 35 of North Carolina’s leading employers, the NCAMA will work to provide fast-track pathways to good jobs for North Carolinians.

The funds will be shared by
