Beginning Microsoft Excel at the Washington County Center



The following class is available for free at the Washington County Center in Roper through the Continuing Education Department at BCCC. Beginning Microsoft Excel

Lentz Stowe is the director of Beaufort County Community College’s Small Business Center.He has provided assistance to many individuals who are current or potential small business owners.Grass roots economic development is important and BCCC’s Small Business Center helps individuals create and retain jobs.With SBC program assistance, individuals start small businesses. That matters for our economy!

Prior to working in the public sector, Lentz worked for 17 years with a private manufacturing venture where he managed an operation that achieved preferred vendor status with Procter & Gamble, the largest consumer products company in the world.

Excel is a very versatile, business oriented, application. Beginners are encouraged to attend and proficient users may attend as well. The class will cover introductions and Excel basics; creating a worksheet; formatting, saving and printing the worksheet, and basic formulas and functions.

This class will take place June 14 from 1:30-4:00 p.m. The Washington County Center is located at 100 NC Hwy 32 N. in Roper.
