A 96-hour course designed to prepare the student through classroom instruction to enter the pharmacy field as a Pharmacy Technician I. Core course concept is basic training in pharmacy and pharmacology. Student will complete 10 hours of shadowing at an assigned pharmacy. Upon satisfactory completion of the course, students are encouraged to apply for certification with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam.

Prerequisite:
Career Readiness Certificate of a bronze or higher. Copy of certificate is due at time of registration along with an official high school transcript.

Total registration-$194.25 ($180-registration fee, $13-malpractice insurance fee, $1.25-accident insurance fee)
Textbook-$197.22, exam fee-$129
