SharePoint is a platform to support collaboration and content management system. It is a central web-based portal. It allows groups to set up a centralized,
password-protected space for document sharing. Microsoft SharePoint lets you set up web sites to share information with others, manage documents and
publish reports to find the right business information to make better decisions. Many organizations use SharePoint as a secure place to store, organize, share, and access information from almost any device.
This 4 week course will cover an overview of SharePoint and it’s versions; build and design your web-based portal and Google Drive; create rich digital experiences with forms, workflows, and custom apps; simple sharing and seamless collaboration (news, documents, inventory, data); customize your site/drive to streamline your team’s work; powerful search and intelligent ways to make informed decisions/action plans; accelerate productivity by transforming processes; build communities to share best practices; analyze customer satisfaction and employee/team work performance. Requirements for course: Office 365 Business Premium (which includes SharePoint) or current or future plans to purchase Microsoft Sharepoint as an independent app.
