Brenda Willis

In 2002, at the age of 33, I moved to Pinetown, NC after the birth of my twins; Jonathan and Elizabeth. They were 13 weeks premature and spent four and three months respectively. After the 16 weeks spent at PCMH's NICU, I was inspired to become a nurse. I was not inspired because of the quality of care, but for the chance to make a difference in the life of someone. So, in the summer of 2003 I enrolled at BCCC. My first class was ENG 111, taught by Bryan Oesterreich, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Writing is an escape for me the way reading is an escape for others.
