  • Health Occupation Basic Entrance Test (HOBET)
              (Not required for MLT)
    Applicants must meet the minimum reading and math scores on the HOBET in order to be ranked.
     

  • Academic Performance (142 points)
    Cumulative quality points from the non-core courses

Bonus points: BIO 163 or BIO 165
      (second attempts earn half)

A - 30 bonus points
B - 20 bonus points

High school students with no college may use the average of their grade from the following academic courses:

Algebra I
Geometry
English IV
Biology

  • Chemistry grade:
              (not required for PN)
              A = 30   B = 20   C = 10 points
     

  • High School/GED or *College GPA (100 points)
    *Must have completed 15 semester hours or more of the non-core general education courses in the nursing program.
             (Do not include CHM.)

If two or more students have the same evaluated ranking, the GPA will be the determining factor.
