Beaufort County Community College is a proud partner of East Carolina University. Students who graduate from BCCC with an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree are eligible to transfer to ECU to earn their bachelor’s degree.
ECU’s Pirate Promise guarantees admission to ECU for students who complete a qualifying 2-year degree at BCCC. Eligible students must be enrolled at BCCC full time and earn an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree with a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
Students interested in becoming teachers can start their pathway at BCCC. ECU’s Partnership Teach is designed specifically for students who transition from a community college to ECU to earn a bachelor’s degree and obtain their teaching licensure.
