Kent Dickerson, director of nursing & allied health, walks new students through the admissions process for Practical Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology and Associate Degree Nursing.
Programs
The Associate Degree Nursing, Practical Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology Programs are limited in the number of students that can be admitted each year, therefore, these programs are competitive-based. They have special admission requirements, application process and selection criteria. Completed applications are taken and reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students have an additional option for a healthcare career at Beaufort County Community College with the Health Information Technology program. BCCC has renewed its transfer agreement with Pitt Community College so that students can take one year of classes at Beaufort before transferring to Pitt to finish an Associate in Applied Science in Health Information Technology online. The program will place students locally for their clinical practice during their second year.
