Beaufort County Community College (Beaufort CCC) will host a series of events this fall to help students and families prepare for their next steps in higher education. The lineup includes the Virtual Transfer Fair (September 30–October 2), the Regional Financial Aid Information Night (October 2), the on-campus Transfer Fair (October 14), and the evening College Fair (October 14).
Virtual Transfer Fair
The Virtual Transfer Fair will take place from September 30 through October 2, connecting students with 15 universities online. Attendees will be able to interact with five universities each day:
- Tuesday, September 30: Elizabeth City State University, UNC Asheville, UNC Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, Winston-Salem State University
- Wednesday, October 1: East Carolina University, NC A&T State University, NC State University, UNC Pembroke, Western Carolina University
- Thursday, October 2: Appalachian State University, Fayetteville State University, NC Central University, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro
Regional Financial Aid Information Night
On Wednesday, October 2, Beaufort CCC will host College Foundation of North Carolina’s (CFNC) Regional Financial Aid Information Night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Boyette Conference Center. Amy Denton of CFNC will provide guidance on how to complete the 2026–27 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This is an informational session only; FAFSA forms will not be completed at the event. This event is free and open to the public.
Transfer Fair
The on-campus Transfer Fair will follow on Tuesday, October 14, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Beaufort CCC Lester Library. This event is designed for current Beaufort CCC students who are planning to continue their education at a four-year university. Students will have the chance to meet with university representatives, ask questions, and learn about transfer pathways.
College Fair
That evening, Beaufort CCC will host its annual College Fair from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the Boyette Conference Center (Building 10). This free, public event is open to high school students, transfer students, guardians and parents. Nearly 40 colleges and universities will be represented, including:
