Dr. Stacey Gerard, vice president of continuing education at Beaufort County Community College, has been selected to serve as a board member for the North Carolina ACE Women’s Network. The organization is dedicated to the advancement of women in higher education leadership across the state.
Dr. Gerard joins a distinguished group of higher education leaders who work together to support, connect, and empower women professionals through networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
During her ten years as vice president of continuing education, the division has seen a tremendous 80% growth in enrollment, the second highest among community colleges in North Carolina. She also served as Title IX coordinator for the college.
“I’m honored to join this incredible group of leaders,” said Dr. Gerard. “I look forward to contributing to the important work of the Network and connecting with colleagues who are equally passionate about supporting and empowering women in our field.”
The North Carolina ACE Women’s Network is part of a national effort to promote gender equity and professional growth among women in higher education.
