Conversational Spanish classes starting Feb. 3

BCCC will offer Conversational Spanish this spring through Continuing Education for people who are interested in learning the language for fun or for business. This non-credit class is ideal for people looking to travel with greater ease, connect with new customers for business or build stronger a stronger relationship with Spanish-speaking in-laws or friends.

Level I is a 20-hour introductory course. It focuses on elements of a sentence using nouns, pronouns, articles, adjectives and adverbs, and interrogative words. Students will also learn days, months, and numbers along with regular and irregular verb usage.

Level 2 is a 20-hour follow-up course will allow students to continue to master the Spanish language. Students will cover direct and indirect objects, reflexive verbs, and the formation of the present subjunctive.

Each course costs $70. Level 1 will start on February 3 and run through March 12. Level 2 will be determined at a later date. Both classes take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Call 252-940-6375 to sign up.
