Credential: NC Real Estate License, NC Real Estate Commission
This 87-hour course is required to satisfy the educational requirements for a provisional broker license, and is designed to prepare you to pass the North Carolina real estate license examination. Topics include basic real estate principles and practices, law and contracts, financing, closing valuation, fair housing and real estate laws. The textbook, Modern Real Estate Practice in North Carolina 10th Edition (ISBN: 9781475486520), is available in the BCCC Bookstore and should be purchased prior to the starting date of class.

This 32-hour course is one of the three mandatory post-licensing courses that must be completed by the newly licensed North Carolina provisional broker, within three years of obtaining licensure. This course will cover contract law, preparation and procedures, closing preparation and procedures, RESPA and TRID, and other topics. The textbook, North Carolina Real Estate Manual (2021-2022 Edition), is available for purchase on the NCREC website. Please bring your broker identification card to the first day of class.
