Seven students have completed the Esthetics Technology program at Beaufort County Community College. Beginning this fall, the program will transition from the Division of Continuing Education to the Division of Business, Technology, and Public Services. This change means that new students must apply for admission to the college before enrolling in the program.

The graduates are Precious Bond, Marla Cutler, Susan Gardner, Diamond Mabine, Robin Johnson, Lesly Norman, and Tegris Simmons.

The students were recognized with certificates during a ceremony that included remarks from cosmetology instructor Stephen Williams and esthetics instructor Jasmine Allen, who offered words of encouragement and praised their accomplishments.

The Esthetics Technology curriculum provides students with a comprehensive foundation in scientific and artistic skin care principles, as well as practical skills in a simulated salon environment. Coursework includes instruction in all phases of professional esthetics, product knowledge, business and human relations, and related topics.

Graduates of the program are prepared to take the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners licensing exam. Upon successful completion, they may qualify for employment in beauty salons, skin care centers, or as platform artists and in related positions across the cosmetic and wellness industries. Registration is open now for all Fall 2025 college credit classes. Prospective students can begin the admissions process HERE.
