American Association of Psychiatric Technicians Scholarship
The purpose of the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians Scholarship is to offer educational opportunities to current Nurse Aides I and II, LPNs, RNs, Paramedics, and EMS workers involved in the healthcare field caring for mentally disordered or developmentally disabled patients. The course provides technical expertise, manual skills, care, and training to work in hospitals, group homes, and state mental hospitals. Student will be able to earn a certification with American Association of Psychiatric Technician.

BCCC Foundation Board of Directors Continuing Education Scholarship
The BCCC Foundation Board of Directors Continuing Education Scholarship is available to any qualifying continuing education student enrolling in a course leading to an industry-recognized credential or a College and Career Readiness student completing their high school equivalency exam. To be eligible, a student must be in good standing with the Beaufort County Community College Business Office, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled in a short-term training program that leads to a state-recognized or industry-recognized credential that is offered through Continuing Education. The scholarship will pay for registration fees, course fees, and textbooks. For College and Career Readiness students, the scholarship pays up-front for the cost of high school equivalency testing fees. All scholarships are awarded based on funding availability.

Beaufort Promise Scholarship
The Beaufort Promise program will provide funds to pay for college credit classes as well as initial certification classes through the Division of Continuing Education during the fall and spring semesters. Only tuition and fees are covered. The Beaufort Promise is non-refundable and not retroactive. Initial certification programs through the Division of Continuing Education such as Nurse Aide I, CDL Truck Driving, HVAC Technician, Phlebotomy, Real Estate Pre-License and other 50+ hour programs are covered. Students must qualify under the current established procedures and guidelines.

Belhaven Trout Tournament Festival Medical and Skilled Trades Scholarship
The Belhaven Chamber of Commerce hosted the first annual Belhaven Trout Tournament and Festival (October, 2023) and established scholarships for students entering into a marine industry. This scholarship is for students in any aspect of marine industry including, but not limited to, owning & operating a marine detail business, Industrial Sewing Levels 1-2-3, BLET for Wildlife Officer, EMT, Fire, CDL Truck Driving, Electrical Technician, HVAC Technician, Welding Technician pathways, and any other programs authorized by the donor. Funds are also to be used for apprenticeships as needed by continuing education.

Division of Continuing Education Scholarship
The Division of Continuing Education Scholarship is to help Continuing Education students with any class leading to the attainment of a state, industry, or state-approved workforce sector credential. This grant is on-going and determined by a campus scholarship committee. This scholarship covers the cost of registration, course fees, and textbooks/materials up to $500 per student.

Finish Line Grant
The Finish Line Grant helps students stay on track toward completing their education by providing emergency financial assistance for unforeseen hardship. Eligible students may receive up to $1,000 per semester ($2,000 max) to cover unexpected expenses such as transportation, childcare or dependent care, housing assistance, utility bills (including internet), and medical needs.

Golden Leaf Scholars Program
The Golden LEAF Board recognized the challenge North Carolinians face in these tough economic times to attend college to retool and prepare for emerging job opportunities. The additional $250,000 will insure more scholarship funds are available for citizens seeking to enhance their employability skills. The scholarship will provide up to $250.00, and can be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation and childcare expenses related to attending classes during the academic year. Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and reside in rural counties that are tobacco-dependent and/or economically distressed. Scholarships are available for both occupational and curriculum students and are awarded during the fall, spring and summer semesters.

The Richard Sheltra Memorial Foundation
The Richard Sheltra Memorial Foundation, Inc. was founded to honor and remember Richard M. Sheltra. Richard, 20 years of age, died in the line of duty on April 30, 2016 as he fought a multi-alarm fire at a commercial retail store in Pineville, NC. Through fundraising, the Foundation provides resources, gear, and scholarships to volunteer first responders so that they can serve our local communities with excellence.

SECU Bridge to Career Program Scholarship
The SECU Bridge to Career Program is available to any qualifying student enrolling in the following courses leading to an industry-recognized credential: Registered Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician, Electronic Health Record Specialist, Central Sterile Processing, EKG, Community Health Worker, and Registered Medical Assistant. Short-Term Workforce Development (STWD) Grant Program
In 2021, the General Assembly allocated $3,000,000 each year of the biennium to the N.C. Community College System (NCCCS) for eligible students pursuing high-demand workforce training programs within workforce pathways identified in collaboration with the Department of Commerce that lead to a State or industry-recognized credential. These funds intend to remove access barriers to high quality, in-demand, sustaining wage careers for North Carolinians. Through this program, each college is able to determine grant award amounts based on student needs, local industry needs, number of eligible students, and cost of the course/pathway, up to a maximum award of $750 per course. These grants will help address the cost of tuition/registration fees, course fees, books, supplies, credentialing tests, transportation, childcare, and any other components of the total cost of attendance.
