If you live outside of North Carolina and would like to take online courses from Beaufort County Community College, the U.S. Department of Education State Authorization Requirements in Section 600.9(c) of the October 29, 2010 final program integrity rule, requires educational institutions to be authorized to provide instruction in their states. To be compliant, BCCC must secure authorization from a student’s state of location before allowing the student to enroll in online courses.

Beaufort County Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Students who file a complaint with the accrediting agency should follow the SACSCOC Complaint Procedure (PDF).
